MULTAN: Jamat-e-Islami referendum on CTBT is in progress here on Tuesday which would continue till March 23.

The results would be announced by JI referendum commissioner, Liaquat Baloch on March 23 before the national and international media.

A JI Multan spokesman Kanwar Siddique said that 200 polling stations have been set up in Multan with 150 mobile teams.

He said that 550 ballot boxes were put at different prominent places, in Multan district. He said that more than 900,000 voters would exercise their right to vote. He claimed that people were taking extraordinary interest in the referendum. He further said that lawyers, traders, women and students also took part in the campaign.
