India has deployed
'Prithvi' missiles
against Pakistan
NEW DELHI: While the ominous sabre-rattling echoes from the Indian leadership continue at short intervals, India has deployed several missiles like Prithvi against Pakistan which speaks of the mounting tension on the Indo-Pakistan borders.
According to 'CNN', the Prithvi missiles are deployed in the northern borders of India and are nuclear capable. Quoting Raj Chengappa's latest book 'Weapon of Peace', the telecast extensively threw light on Indian designs.
The network has quoted Raja Chengappa as saying that India has deployed an aircraft delivery system for its nuclear weapons. Then, last April in a secret test, he says, scientists successfully validated India's capability to launch a nuclear warhead fitted to the country's medium range missile 'Agni'.ÑAPP
