MULTAN: Every possible measure was being taken to achieve the export target said deputy Director Export Promotion Bureau Multan on Tuesday.

He said exhibitions of Pakistan products were being organised in different world trade fairs and festivals. Seminars and workshops were being held in Pakistan to educate the exporters and manufacturers about the quality of goods, demand of the world market, packing, knitting, stitching, grading and preservation of fresh fruits.

He said that Pakistani exporters should also introduce non-tradition and value-added items to earn maximum foreign exchange.

He said that latest informations were being provided to the exporters about the international markets, trend of buyers, rates through E.Mail while complete informations about the exporters, manufacturers, buyers were feeded in the computer to facilitate the needy.

A seminar on 'basics of exports' would be held at Muzaffargarh on March 25 in collaboration with D G Khan Chamber of Commerce and Industry. It would educate the exporters and new entrants about the registration as exporters/importers, export-insurance, customs rules, banking and available facilities at the dry-ports. Participation in the seminar will be free.
