Clinton greets Tarar
ISLAMABAD: US President Bill Clinton on Wednesday sent, "best wishes and regards," to President Rafiq Tarar on the occasion of Pakistan Day and said he was looking forward to exchange views with him.
Clinton said, he looks forward how Pakistan and the US can work together to, "advance our common interests."
In his message Clinton said: "It is a pleasure for me to extend my best wishes and regards to you and the people of Pakistan on March 23 the Sixtieth Anniversary of the Lahore Resolution that led to the birth of Pakistan.
"I will soon have the opportunity to meet with you during my first visit to Pakistan. I look forward to exchanging views with you on how Pakistan and the United States can work together to advance our common interests.
"Together we can work to strengthen the well-being of our peoples as we begin the 21st century. APP
