Ban imposed

LAHORE: The Punjab Fisheries Department has imposed ban on netting and sale of common corp fish in the province, with immediate effect till May 31 in order to provide favourable breeding atmosphere.

Fisheries Department Director General Dr Nazir Bhatti disclosed that in Pakistan breeding season of common corp fish started from March to May. During the hatchery season it was imperative to provide natural and free of peril atmosphere to the fish.ÑAPP
