7 die, 30 hurt as bus falls in ravine

MUZAFFARABAD: Seven people were died,30 wounded as passenger bus fell into ravine near Dongi locality of southern district Kotli on Wednesday morning, officials said.

They said a passenger bus No-AJK 3970 was coming to Kotli from Charhoi was fell into deep ravine near Dongi locality of subdivision Khoiratta after losing the driver's control while negotiating a sharp turn on early Wednesday morning.

Eight of the injured were reported to be in critical condition.

Those died were identified as Mohammed Muneer son of Mohammed Sharif r/o Chala, Mohammed Saddique son of Munshi r/o Keri, Rehman son of Faqir Mohammed r/o Juna, Jamaat son of Mohammed Zaman r/o Dinna, Umri Begum wife of Hasan r/o Sarsava and Mazhar Zaheer son of Mohammed Zaheer r/o Junna.

All the injured were admitted in district headquarter hospital Kotli.
