Add Nayyar story
During his meeting with the Minister of State/Chairman of Export Promotion Bureau Tariq Ikram Kim Hyuk Kyu said Republic of Korea can import of fisheries products, rice and other agricultural products from Pakistan.
He further said that since the current balance of trade was in Korea's favour, his country would like to encourage Pakistani exports to bridge the gap.
He said Pakistani rice can be another item in which Korea would be interested.
He mentioned items like marble, denim fabrics and soccer balls as having good prospects for export to Korean markets.
The governor said that he was impressed by the hospitality of the people of Pakistan and added that the two brotherly countries must discuss ways and means to promote bilateral cooperation for mutual progress.
Earlier, welcoming the Governor, EPB Chairman Tariq Ikram said that Pakistan would like to see growth in bilateral economic and cultural ties.
Tariq Ikram said that Pakistan and Korea could launch joint ventures in many areas and hoped that the visit will give the Korean delegation a chance to examine such possibilities.
