260 kg hashish seized

TURBAT: The Anti Narcotics Force (ANF) recovered 260 km of hashish from Rutt Band area here on Sunday. According to details, on an information, the ANF team in a midnight operation raided a place in Kalao near Rutt Band and recovered 260 km of hashish, being smuggled to Iran, most Rs 3 million in the international market. No one was asset. Case has been registered while further investigations were under way, the ANF sources said.ÑPPI

Nouroze festival on 20th

GILGIT: Brisk preparations are under way to celebrate Nouroze festival in Gilgit Baltistan, Northern Areas, with traditional festivity on Monday. Nouroze is an Iranian festival which is also celebrated by the people of Northern Areas for centuries on March 21 but this year it is being celebrated on March 20. Different programmes will be held in Mosques, Imambargahs, Jamaat Khanas in all districts of the Northern Areas.ÑAPP

ISLAMABAD: The House of Knowledge (HOK) Islamabad is organising a series of lectures by Public Relation Practitioner Khalid Rashid Shahbaz from Monday. Khalid Shahbaz, a senior officer of the Central Board of Revenue, and former President Public Relations Association of Pakistan, will deliver lectures on the effective public relations methodologies adaptation.
