RECORDER REPORT

KARACHI: The Karachi Port handled a total 100,120 tonnes of cargo including 65,286 tonnes of import and 34,834 tonnes of export, during last 24 hours.

Of the total cargo handled, 63,120 tonnes was dry cargo and 37,000 tonnes liquid cargo.

The ship due to arrive at port on Friday is Kindia.

The ships expected to sail on Friday are: Trade Fast, Reliance, Jrenes Honour, Hyundai Stride and Cerda.

PORT QASIM

A cargo volume of 25,104 tonnes exclusively imports, comprising 12,970 tonnes wheat, 10,189 tonnes furnace oil and 1,945 tonnes chemicals was handled during last 24 hours.

Caharo Pride after discharging 59,055 tonnes furnace oil sailed on Thursday morning.

Following vessels were currently at the outer anchorage: Agha-1, Amorgos, Al-Safa, Venture and Changi.

Venture was expected to take berth at Fauji Oil Terminal of Port Qasim on Thursday.
