KARACHI: Jodia Bazar were a deserted look as some traders preferred to close down their business from Thursday to proceed to their homes at distance places for celebrating Eid-ul-Azha.
However, those expected their commodities might be hunted even on Thursday, kept their shutters up. They also argued that Bazar showed remain open if the banks operate.
Only sector which underwent significant changes was plastic mouldings. Polystyrene high impact Polyrex PH 88 lost 50 paisa to Rs 33.50; MC59 shed same amount to Rs 33.50 and Saudia was down by 50 paisa to Rs 33.50. GP Pakistan rose by Rs 5 to Rs 1,725 and ABS Polylac dropped Rs 50 to Rs 2,100 and Toyalac shed same amount to Rs 2,100.
