KARACHI: The Drupa 2000 (No 1 international trade fair for the printing and paper industry) will be held from May 18-31, in Dusseldorf, Germany.

The first Drupa took place in 1951 and the concept of this event was laid in 1949. Ever since then, Drupa has become more fascinating over the past years. The number of exhibitors has quadrupled to 1,800 and the net exhibition space is approximately nine times larger.

Nearly 40,000 visitors, half of them from overseas (168 countries), will be obtaining information and making major decisions at Drupa.
