Indian shelling claims 2 lives

MUZAFFARABAD: Continued Indian shelling in Neelum Valley on Tuesday claimed lives of two more civilians including a six-year-old girl and injuries to two, officials said.
They said, Indian army shelled various villages of Jura sector on Tuesday with mortars killing a 65-year-old-man identified as Samundar Khan son of Hidayatullah Khan in Barian village, a six-year-old-girl Nusrat Bibi, who had seriously injured succumbed to injuries in hospital.
A man identified as Mansha son of Mohammed Akram was wounded by Indian shelling.
Indian army also shelled civilian population in Leepa Valley, where a villager identified as Ghulam Mohammed son of Fatha Mohammed, 50, was seriously wounded.
They added that two houses were also damaged in the shelling.
