Cabinet reshuffle in Afghanistan
PESHAWAR: The Taliban government in Afghanistan on Tuesday announced a reshuffle in its council of ministers.
According to an official notification, the cabinet reshuffle was ordered and approved by supreme Taliban leader Mulla Mohammed Omar.
The following will be the cabinet portfolios held by various ministers: Mulla Mohammed Tahir Anwari, former minister of finance, now minister for administrative affairs.
Mulla Amir Khan Muttaqi, former minister of administrative affairs, now minister for education.
Mulla Abdul Wasey Aghajan Mutasim, former chairman of the Special Committee of the Islamic Emirates, now minister for finance.
Maulvi Syed Ghyasuddin Agha, former minister of education, now minister for Haj and endowment affairs.
Hafiz Mohibullah, former minister of Haj and endowment affairs, now minister for Ushr and Zakat.
Mulla Gul Akhund, former minister for Ushr and Zakat, now deputy minister for Ushr and Zakat.
The rest of the ministers will continue with their present portfolios.-Internews
