Immunisation days

against polio

in Sindh

KARACHI: The Sindh Health Department in collaboration with WHO and the Rotary International is holding two rounds of Sub-National Immunisation days against Polio.

According to Health Department sources the days will be observed in Larkana division from March 9-11 and Sukkur division March 19-21.

The second round will be held in Karachi and Hyderabad divisions from March 25 to 27 and in Mirpurkhas division from March 27 to 29.

During the two rounds, the Health Department will carry out door to door campaign to administer polio drops to every child of under five years.

Department sources said that some 7.20 million target population under five years of children is expected to be covered under the programme.ÑAPP
