Govt striving to solve collective problems: Umar

ISLAMABAD: Federal Minister for Environment, Local Govt and Rural Development Umar Asghar Khan on Monday said the government was striving to evolve a comprehensive policy to solve collective problems of the common man.

He was talking to various delegations came here to see him from different parts of the country, AJK and the Northern Areas.

"Provision of electricity, water and gas, construction of farm to market roads and provision of the facilities of education and health to the common people, is our top priority," he said.

The minister stressed upon the people to organise themselves for getting their problems resolved.

He underlined the importance of close collaboration between the people and various departments.

The government will leave no stone unturned for solution of the problems faced by the people," Umar said.

However, the minister added, close collaboration of provincial governments and district administration in this connection was also necessary.ÑAPP
