10 civilians hurt in Indian shelling

MUZAFFARABAD: At least 10 people including three women and two children were wounded by Indian shelling from across the casefire line on Saturday, police said.

Indian army started indiscriminate firing mortars and machine guns on civilian population in Hijera and Abbaspur sectors of Rawalakot district critically wounding six civilians including two children and three women.

In Khutta sector of Bagh district, Indian army shelled civilian population with artillery and mortars. Four people were wounded seriously in Hillan Shamali frontier village.

The injured were admitted in the hospitals.
