RECORDER REPORT

KARACHI: The Karachi Port handled, a total 116,857 tonnes of cargo, comprising 79,210 tonnes of import, and 37,647 tonnes of export, during last 24 hours.

Of the total cargo handled, 62,168 tonnes was dry cargo and 54,689 tonnes liquid cargo.

The ships due to arrive at port on Saturday are: Keefan and Msc Francesca.

The ships expected to sail on Saturday are: Hunan, Johar and Yu He.

Port Qasim

A cargo volume of 56,268 tonnes, exclusively imports, comprising 5,606 tonnes edible oil, 13,536 tonnes wheat, 25,493 tonnes furnace oil and 11,633 tonnes iron ore was handled during last 24 hours.

Bumwoo, Casana and Heles Pont Courage were expected to sail on Friday.

Following vessels are currently at the outer anchorage: Agha-I, Miraj, Amorgos and Stalo.

Stalo and Miraj were expected to take berths at multi-purpose terminal and Fauji Oil Terminal of Port Qasim on Friday.
