LAHORE: Trade activity remained slow on Akbari Mandi here on Friday.

The turnout of visitors remianed low. As a result, dealers registered below average transactions.

Due to the upcoming Eid holidays, trade activity will pick up next week, traders expressed the hope.

No considerable fluctuation was observed in the prices of essential commodities indcluding sugar and ghee, dealers stated.
