KARACHI: Federal Culture Minister, Derick Cyprian here on Friday called on melody queen Madam Noor Jehan at her residence here and enquired about her health.

The federal minister while enquiring about her welfare assured Madam Noor Jehan of the government help in providing health-care to her.

Derick Cyprian prayed for the better health and long life of Madam.

He lauded invaluable services of Madam Noor Jehan to promote art and music.

Meanwhile, in his statement issued here, Derick Cyprian, who also holds portfolio of the Minister for Tourism and Youth Affairs and Minorities Affairs, has condoled the death of senior singer, Pathaney Khan.

He prayed for eternal rest to the departed soul of Pathaney Khan and grant courage and fortitude to the members of the grieved family.ÑAPP
