PIA rebate for

blind passenger's

attendant

KARACHI: Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) has granted 50 percent rebated travel facility to the 'accompanying attendants' of 'blind passengers', in response to a request from the Karachi Chamber of Commerce and Industry (KCCI).

Amjad Rafi, President, KCCI, has expressed gratitude to PIA as well as the government of Pakistan for acceding to the chamber's long-standing demand for grant of 50 percent rebated travel facility to the accompanying attendants of blind passengers.

He said that this facility would go a long way in facilitating movement of blind persons.
