QUETTA: Balochistan Petroleum Dealers Association has warned that if sale of smuggling of Iranian petroleum and its sale was not stopped by March one then all pumps would be handed over to provincial government voluntarily.

This announcement was made by Sardar Mohammad Anwar Khan Jaffar Chairman of the Association at an emergency meeting here Saturday. The meeting strongly condemned smuggling or iranian oil and its open sale.

It was of the view that sale at petrol pumps has declined to

minimum. The Association has been making appeals to the government for stopping smuggling of Iranian oil but no worth mentioning acting has so far been taken.

Therefore petrol pumps owners in protest would hand over pumps to government on March one if smuggling and sale of Iranian oil was not stopped.

The meeting unanimously decided that a representative delegation would meet governor Balochistan, Corps Commander, Chief Secretary and Home Secretary during this period and if assurance was given to meet our demand, we would withdraw appeal for protest.-PPI
