Efforts for holding Eid Bazaars commended

KARACHI: Sindh Chief Secretary Mohammad Zubair Kidwai has commended the efforts of local administration and the role of various NGOs and philanthropists in making the establishment of Eid Relief Bazaars a success.

He said this while distributing Eid gifts among the needy and poor residents of Mehmoodabad.

He also appreciated the role of different national/multinational companies in sponsoring Eid gifts for deserving people.

It is worth mentioning that 48 such Bazaars had been arranged by the local administration in different areas of the province. These were apart from those voluntarily organised by the local area social workers in their respective areas.

According to the break-up, six such Bazaars were been established in Karachi, 18 in Hyderabad, eight in Mirpurkhas, 13 in Larkana and two in Sukkur Division.

The Bazaars kept opened till the sighting of moon to provide maximum benefit to the people. APP
