HSC practicals from 17th

KARACHI: Practicals of the High School Certificates (HSC) Part I and II, Supplementary Examinations 1999 of humanities group (regular) candidates in all the subjects will commence from January 17. This was announced by the Controller of Examinations of the Board of Intermediate Education Karachi (BIEK) on Friday. The candidates have been asked to report to their respective colleges, getting details of the schedule. BIEK could also be contacted for the purpose.ÑAPP

EPA, police launch campaign

HYDERABAD: The regional office of Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) and Sindh police have decided to launch a campaign against vehicles with pressure horns, coloured glasses and extra lights and smoke emitting vehicles. The owners of the above automobiles have been given a final warning that stirct action will be taken under the relevant sections of Motor Vehicle Act if the rules and regulations were violated.

TJP to observe 'black day' on Eid

HYDERABAD: On the appeal of Tehreek-e-Jafaria Pakistan, (TJP), Chief Allama Syed Sajid Ali Naqvi, the party has decided to observe day mourning day on Eid-ul-Fitr, in memory of the martyrs of the Tehreek and to protest against the inordinate delay in the arrest of the murderers. This was announced here on Firday by the local chapter of the TJP.
