Eid bachat bazars

KARACHI: Sindh Governor Air Marshal Azim Daudpota has appreciated the cooperation of private sector industrialists, traders and philanthropists in holding Eid Bachat Bazars in five districts of the city.

In a statement on Friday, the Sindh Governor hoped that the private sector would continue to extend its cooperation with the government in such efforts in future too.

The governor acknowledged that the private sector with the help of district administration provided items of daily use to the people, at these very bazars, on discounted rates which in certain instances was as high as 50 percent.

A large number of citizens benefitted from those Bachat Bazars and were appreciative of government's steps.

The governor said that the main purpose of the Bachat Bazars was to provide all citizens opportunity to celebrate Eid with equal zeal and help them to purchase items of their needs within their budget and resources.ÑAPP
