LAHORE: Asahi Precision Company Ltd, a Japanese company which deals in the manufacturing of surveying instruments and drafting machines under the brand name Pentax, has made special plans to introduce the latest construction machinery in Pakistan.

Abdul Wahid, Director, Multi Traders International, sole distributor of the said company, talking to Business Recorder said that the company has recently launched a new equipment named 'DistAngular' in Pakistan's construction market.

He said that 'DistAngular', which is the latest surveying instrument used in construction industry and considered to be of high quality and cost-effective, is being introduced in Pakistan for the first time.

Quoting Tohyama, General Manager, International Sales Department of Asahi Precision Company Ltd, he said that 'DistAngular' is a unique instrument and, therefore, there is no model in direct competition. This is why 'DistAngular' is a sure success in the construction market of various countries. 'DistAngular' aimed at the construction sector also provides distance measurements. Combining a 24X telescope and a co-axial distance meter with a range of 300 metres, with a single prism, the new model also features a display screen with icons and is of water-proof construction,' he said.

Abdul Wahid said that the introduction of latest construction equipment would not only improve the construction quality of the Pakistani buildings but it would also help the people to reduce construction costs of projects.
