Gold prices decline in Lahore

LAHORE: The gold prices in the local bullion market on Wednesday registered a decrease of Rs 128 per 10 gram after remaining stable for a week.

According to Suha Bazaar market dealers, the per 10 gram price of the precious metal slided to Rs 4,973 from Tuesday's Rs 5,101.

"The decline is apparently of local nature, mainly due to dollar rate fluctuation", a dealer said.

The gold prices in Lahore and other parts of the country have constantly fluctuating since December 3 last in response to the decline in the international market due to sale of gold by the Bank of England.Ñ APP
