Asian gold firmer at midday, silver shade down
HONG KONG: Asian spot gold was firmer at midday on Wednesday from the opening, while spot silver was quoted a shade down.
Bullion was quoted at US$282.25/283.00 an ounce at midday, up from its opening price of US$281.75/282.50.
Spot silver ended at midday quoted at US$5.29/32 per ounce, a shade down from the opening price of US$5.30/33.
Tael gold at midday was at HK$2,622 per tael, up HK$8 from its opening at HK$2,622 per tael.-Reuters
