for admission

to medical colleges

on self-finance basis

KARACHI: The Sindh Health Department has invited applications against the allocated seats for local/overseas candidates from those candidates who had appeared in the entrance test for admissions to the medical colleges in the province but were not successful but desirous of getting seats under the above allocation on self-finance basis.

An official statement here on Wednesday asked such candidates to submit applications at the concerned section along with photostat copy of bank draft of Rs 150,000 or US$5,000.

These applications should be submitted latest by January 15, 2000, the Sindh Health Department statement added.

It said that those candidates who applied in the medical colleges of Sindh for the session 1999-2000 and appeared in the entrance test but could not be selected against the district merit seats and desirous of getting admission on self-finance basis against the allocated seats for local/overseas candidates are advised to submit applications at the concerned selection centre along with photo-copy of bank draft of Rs 150,000 or US$5,000.

These applications should be submitted latest by January 15, 2000, and will be considered, the Health Department statement added.ÑAPP
