Entertainment for police officials

RAWALPINDI: The police department has made proper entertainment arrangements for police officials to spend their leisure time in some healthy activity. SSP Syed Kaleem Imam provided 14 television sets at rural police stations while satellite dish receivers have been installed at police lines. The step has been taken so that police officials could enjoy themselves after performing duty. The TV sets and dish antennas have been acquired from the National Police Foundation.ÑAPP

Police recover 83 vehicles in Dec 99

RAWALPINDI: Police recovered 83 vehicles through computerised checking during last month. The SBP Syed Kaleem Imam introduced the system of computerised checking for the first time in Rawalpindi which yielded positive results. In this connection a special computer room was set up at the PIA office having data of all the stolen vehicles. A wireless set was also installed there.ÑAPP

PLF celebrates ZAB's 72nd birthday

LAHORE: The Peoples Lawyers Forum (PLF) on Tuesday celebrated 72nd birth anniversary of late Zulfikar Ali Bhutto. The chief guest and PPP secretary general Jehangir Badar cut the cake at the Quaid-e-Azam Hall of the Lahore High Court and spoke on the occasion. Mian Misbahur Rehman, S M Masood, Sheikh Rafiq Ahmed, Ziaul Qamar Bhatti, Sajida Mir, Shamim Niazi, Malik Manzoor Gillani, Ahmed Saeed Kirmani, Munir Hussain Gillani and Rana Aish Bahadur were also present on the occasion.ÑAPP
