Greenspan may be reappointed Fed chairman
WASHINGTON: US President Bill Clinton will reappoint Alan Greenspan as chairman of the Federal Reserve, an administration official said on Tuesday.
The President was to make an announcement at 11:15 a.m. (1615 GMT) at the White House, but the official said the Greenspan appointment would be forthcoming.
