100 days performance
Centre calls reports from all departments

LAHORE: The Federal Government has called reports from all the federal ministries and provincial governments of their 100 days' performance.
According to sources, a letter has been sent to the federal ministries and the provincial governments in this regard. The report will be put before the National Security Council (NSC) for review of these departments. The NSC will evaluate their performance and ascertain how many departments have made sincere efforts to implement the policies announced by the Chief Executive.
After receiving the letter sent by Islamabad, the provincial governments, it is learnt, have directed all the departments to submit their 100 days' performance reports so that it could sent to the federal government.
The sources said that evaluation of the performance of the provincial governments would help NSC evolve a strategy to further improve functioning and performance of various public sector departments.
The sources revealed that NSC had decided to review the performance of all the government departments after every 100 days with a view to removing the bottlenecks and flaws in public departments.
The departments, whose performance will not be up to the mark, would be put under the control of suitable people, who will be responsible to improve their affairs and implement the agenda of the government, sources revealed.
