Institution of Hudood case against ASI ordered

FAISALABAD: An ASI Malik Mohammed Aslam of Tandlianwalla police was arrested on charge of keeping some women in wrongful confinement and allegedly assaulting them criminally during illegal custody.

A bailiff of the Lahore High Court conducted a raid at police station where the women were kept in wrongful confinement and raped.

The bailiff, after recovering the ill-fated women produced them before the Court.

The judge after listening to the miseries of the women ordered for registering a case against the ASI, under the Hadood Ordinance.

Sub Inspector Sikandar Hayat is investigating the case.
