Mixed trend on Jodia Bazar

KARACHI: A couple of sectors underwent significant changes on Jodia Bazar, where prices were mixed on Saturday.

The sectors, which saw variations included plastic mouldings and Kirana items. The rest of the sectors remained at previous levels.

Plastic mouldings: HDPE film compound Korea 3080 shed 25 paisa to Rs 27.75 and Mobil dropped same amount to Rs 27.75. HDPE blow 6,400 shed 25 paisa to Rs 28.75. Polypropylene tape grade Delim dropped 25 paisa to Rs 23.25, Yuplene shed same amount to Rs 23.25, Saudia lost 25 paisa to Rs 23.25 and Thai lost same amount to Rs 23.25. Polypropylene injection grade Saudia lost 12 paisa to Rs 23.50, Yuplene lost same amount to Rs 23.50, Delim shed 12 paisa to Rs 23.50 and Hanwa conceded same amount to Rs 23.50. Polystyrene high impact Saudia retreated by 50 paisa to Rs 31.50. Polystyrene GP Saudia lost Rs 40 to Rs 1,700, Pakistan quoted at Rs 1,640 and dow lost Rs 20 to Rs 1,700. ABS polylac rose by Rs 25 to Rs 2,125 and Toyalac lost 25 paisa to Rs 2,075.

Kirana items: Black pepper from Vietnam rose by Rs 100 to Rs 14,400, white pepper dropped Rs 1,000 to Rs 21,000, mace conceded Rs 800 to Rs 32,000, small cardamom from Tanzania shed Rs 600 to Rs 18,000, big cardamom rose by Rs 1,200 to Rs 16,800, cloves was quoted at Rs 11,600, dry ginger rose by Rs 100 to Rs 2,700, long pepper dropped Rs 800 to Rs 8,800, Isbaghol Bhoosi rose by Rs 500 to Rs 7,200, cuminseed up by Rs 100 to Rs 3,000, darchini up by Rs 25 to Rs 3,975, almond Katha rose by Rs 50 to Rs 1,750, almond rose by Rs 200 to Rs 7,800, raisin III rose by Rs 300 to Rs 1,300 and apricot II up by Rs 400 to Rs 1,800.
