Lashkar-e-Taiba destroys TV booster, kills 20 troops in occupied Kashmir

MUZAFFARABAD: Lashkar-e-Taiba Mujahideen Saturday destroyed Indian television booster and killed 20 paramilitary troops in Rajori district of occupied Kashmir, a party spokesman said.

The Mujahideen launched attack on Doordarshin TV booster in Rajori district on Saturday morning and made their escape good after destroying it completely.

They fired several rockets on the TV booster and blown it into pieces, terminating Indian telecast in Rajori and its adjoining districts of occupied Jammu.

Mujahideen also stromed into police lines in Rajori city and killed 20 central reserve policemen (CRP) and injured several others. They used RPG-7, HMG and GL in attack on police lines. After attack on city police lines Lashkar-e-Taiba Mujahideen escaped from the scene unhurt, the spokesman said, quoting reports from across the LoC.

Indian army in an attempt to trap Mujahideen has deployed CRP men in the guise of Mujahideen in several areas of occupied Jammu and Kashmir.
