RECORDER REPORT

KARACHI: The Karachi Port handled a total 62,921 tonnes of cargo, including 40,653 tonnes of import and 22,268 tonnes of export, during last 24 hours.

Of the total cargo handled, 43,921 tonnes was dry and 19,000 tonnes liquid cargo.

The ships due to arrive at port on Sunday are: Pinta, Johanna and Frisia.

The ship expected to sail on Sunday is Eulyia.

Port Qasim

A cargo volume of 64,345 tonnes, exclusively imports, comprising 16,556 tonnes wheat, 3,259 tonnes edible oil, 36,100 tonnes furnace oil and 3,430 tonnes coal was handled during last 24 hours.

Hina and Astro Pegasus were expected to sail on Saturday.

Following vessels are currently at the outer anchorage: Ascencion, Bunga Saantang, Grace Coral, Nor Yenbo, Agha-I, Andreas Park, Bahagia and Eiren.

Agha-I was expected to take on Saturday.
