Dr Qadeer, Prof Atta to be honoured

KARACHI: Sir Syed University of Engineering and Technology (SSUET) Karachi will confer special awards on renowned nuclear scientist Dr A Q Khan and noted research scholar Prof Dr Atta-ur-Rehman, Director of the HEJ Research Institute of Chemistry.

This was decided at a joint meeting of the SSUET and its sponsoring body, the Aligarh Muslim University Old Boys Association, says a statement here on Saturday.

The special awards will be given on the occasion of the third convocation of SSUET to be held in the first week of March.

Both are members of the board of governors of SSUET. APP
