Karachi traders, CBR talks on GST today

KARACHI: The Member, Central Board of Revenue (CBR) and Coordinator Riaz Malik will hold meeting with the market associations of Karachi on the issue of General Sales Tax (GST) on Monday.

The meeting with the CBR Coordinator has been organised by Karachi Tajir Action Committee.

The Convenor of the Committee, Imran Baghpatee said that the meeting would discuss the Development Tax, complex procedure for GST collection, issuance of notices to the traders by Sales Tax Collectorates, forced registration under GST and notices issued by the Audit Division will also come under discussion.

At least two dozen representatives of various trade and market associations have been invited by Karachi Tajir Action Committee to deliberate on GST issue with the CBR member.

The CBR member will also visit Karachi Chamber of Commerce and Industry (KCCI) in this regard. APP
