Few changes transpire on Jodia Bazar

KARACHI: A few changes transpired on the Jodia Bazar, where commodities mostly changed hands at previous level.
The variations were marked only in jute, plastic mouldings, dyes and chemicals.
Chemicals: Caustic soda flakes Saudi lost Rs 1.50 to Rs 25.50, DOP from Germany rose by Rs 1.30 to Rs 62.70, formic acid China shed 50 paisa to Rs 48.50, formic acid Pakistan shed 50 paisa to Rs 48, formic acid from Germany lost 40 paisa to Rs 50.60, Oxalic acid China lost 80 paisa to Rs 31.20, citric acid China conceded Rs 3 to Rs 61, sulphonic acid China rose by Rs 7.70 to Rs 68.20, PVA Japan dropped Rs 2.85 to Rs 117.15. Hydro sulphute China 88 percent dropped 70 paisa to Rs 58.30 and same item from Germany dropped sharply to Rs 94.60. Dyes: basic colours Aramine O rose by Rs 3 to Rs 116, basic brown dropped Rs 5 to Rs 80.
Underhead plastic mouldings, polystyrene high impact Saudia rose by Re 1 to Rs 32, polystyrene GP Saudia up by Rs 40 to Rs 1740, Pakistan rose sharply to be quoted at Rs 1640, and Dow was up by Rs 60 to Rs 720. LDPE Thai was up by 25 paisa to Rs 28.
Jute goods quiet for several weeks showed mixed trend twine 8x3 (PJSL) dropped Rs 3 to Rs 48 and 40x2 brown rose by Re 1 to Rs 29.
