Family survives as

car falls in river

SAHIWAL: A family survived miraculously when the car they were in fell off a bridge into the river below.

Noor Mohammad of Asadullahpur, his wife Mariam and three children were going to Bahawalnagar in their car No STA-1301, when the driver Mushtaq swerved the vehicle suddenly on the bridge to avoid running into a donkey cart, and lost control. The car knocked off the bridge railing and plunged into the River Sutluj below.

Apart from minor injuries, all escaped unhurt. A copy of the Holy Quran that was in the car also remained safe.ÑAPP
