Factory employee electrocuted

KARACHI: An employee of Ishtiaq Printing Ink Industry died of electrocution during a fire incident at the unit in Bhingoria Town, Azizabad No. 2 here around Tuesday midnight.

Fire brigade sources said, the blaze had erupted in one of the unit's rooms and was later put out without much material loss. Its cause remained unknown so far.

The deceased employee who was apparently struck by a live wire, happened to be in the same room which caught fire.

It was extinguished in presence of area police, the law enforcing personnel and the unit's owner Mohammad Ishtiaq, the sources added.ÑAPP
