ADBP to form task forces to improve efficiency

ISLAMABAD: The Executive Coordination Committee of the Agricultural Development Bank of Pakistan (ADBP) on Wednesday decided to constitute 'Fast-Track Task Forces' to bring an overall improvement in efficiency.

The three task forces headed by senior officers would propose career planning of employees and reorganisation of the bank, analyse the lending portfolio of the bank and suggest measures for revival of sick projects in addition to bringing improvement in the recovery of the defaulted loans.

Moreover, the bank has started strict monitoring over its operation pertaining to disbursement of loans and recovery of defaulted amount and duties have been assigned to all field functionaries accordingly and any lapse on their account would be viewed very seriously.

The bank has also designated S.M. Khalid, Executive Director Planning & Corporate Affairs Division as official spokesman of the bank. APP
