India to develop
pilotless planes
by 2010: Kalam
ISLAMABAD: Senior scientific adviser to the government of India, Dr. Abdul Kalam has said that pilotless planes would replace fighter planes in India by the year 2010, All India Radio (AIR) reported.
Speaking in the 51st session of the Oriental Society of Indian in Hyderabad, Dr. Kalam said, speed of pilotless fighter planes would be less than the sound.
He said, during different phases the supersonic planes would be made speedier than sound.
The fighter planes would be able to strike the pre-determined targets and enemy radar would not be able to detect them.ÑAPP
