signing CTBT

SUKKUR: Comrade Moula Baksh Khaskheli, Secretary General Communist Party of Pakistan, supporting the proposal to sign the CTBT has urged the government to take Iran and China into confidence on what he called "war phobia" being created by India."

Khaskheli addressing a two-day session of Pakistan Communist Party at Rohri, said his party firmly supported the signing of CTBT. Responding to statements made by certain politicians against Pakistan entering into the treaty, he said the political parties of country had been tried and have constantly failed, as such he advised the government to seek mandate from the people of Pakistan. He also called for getting the rid of IMF and other foreign financial donors, to achieve self reliance.

Delegates from the four provinces of Pakistan, participated in the two-day deliberations, held at Khaskheli Park, Rohri. Resolutions were also passed, in which government was urged to ensure subsidy for the growers and farmers. It also called upon the government to fuly implement the land reforms in their real spirit, which would ultimately develop the farm sector.ÑAPP
