LAHORE: The Federal Seed Certification and Registration Department (FSC&RD) will organise farmers day at village Baghiarwala, some 10 kilometres off here on Tuesday.

The officials of the FSC&RD, Punjab Seed Corporation and Agriculture Department will educate the farmers on the benefits of sowing certified seeds of major and minor crops.

"We will take the farmers and mediamen round the demonstration plots of potato and other vegetables to show them the difference of the produce due to certified seed vis-a-vis non-certified seed", Mian Mohammad Wajid, Regional Director, FSC&RD told APP on Monday.ÑAPP
