Bosnian envoy, Kasi discuss bilateral trade

ISLAMABAD: The Ambassador of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Prof. Dr. Faik Uzunovic held a meeting with Federal Minister for Health, Population Welfare and Religious Affairs, Dr. Abdul Malik Kasi here on Monday.

He remained with the Minister for sometime and discussed bilateral issues and matters related to mutual interest.

The Bosnian Ambassador told the minister that there was great potential of exploring new vistas and co-operation in every sector among the Muslim countries.

He appreciated all efforts made on moral and humanitarian grounds to provide assistance to Bosnian Muslims, especially to the refugees, during past.

The Bosnian Ambassador expressed the hope that Pakistan would continue its assistance in various forms and shapes for the rehabilitation and resettlement of Bosnian people.

Matters related to health sector also came under discussion aiming at promoting the mutual co-operation between the two countries.

It was agreed that there was a vast scope of joint venture especially in the pharmaceutical sector and the export of surgical instruments.

The Health minister agreed to initiate this matter at earliest possible and assured him, his full support in the health sector.

Uzunovic said that Bosnia would facilitate Pakistan in order to explore new markets in this regard, in and around the Bosnia. APP
