GOVERNOR ORDERS RELIEF

The Punjab Governor Lt Gen Mohammad Safdar (Retd) has expressed his profound grief over a tragic coaster-bus accident in which a number of innocent passengers lost their lives.

Immediately after learning about the accident, Punjab Governor Lt Gen Mohammad Safdar (Retd) directed the Deputy Commissioner and SSP Jhang to rush to the site of accident and personally supervise the relief and rescue operation besides shifting the seriously injured persons to the district headquarters hospital Jhang.

He also ordered the MS of the hospital to extend medical treatment free of cost to the injured and keep him informed about their recovery. He said proper arrangements should be made for the transportation of dead bodies of those passengers which had been duly identified by the members of bereaved families.

In a condolence message, the governor prayed that the Almightly Allah may grant courage and fortitude to the bereaved families to bear the loss of their near and dear ones with equanimity.ÑAPP
