RECORDER REPORT

KARACHI: The Karachi Port handled a total 59,375 tonnes of cargo, including 35,265 tonnes of import and 24,110 tonnes of export, during last 24 hours.

Of the total cargo handled 21,375 tonnes, was dry and 37,000 tonnes liquid cargo.

The ships due to arrive at port on Friday is Wan Hai-252.

The ships expected to sail on Friday are: Helga Wehr and Ascot.

Port Qasim

A cargo volume of 43,799 tonnes, exclusively imports, comprising 13,967 tonnes wheat, 766 tonnes general cargo, 27,066 tonnes furnace oil and 2,000 tonnes chemicals was handled during last 24 hours in addition to 889 container (Teus).

Oriental Violet, St. Auin and Illiad were expected to sail on Wednesday.

Following vessels are currently at the outer anchorage: Miraj, Fanari, Agha-I, Youya, Oinoussion Navigator, Sea Bird and Atlas.

Fanari, Youya and Miraj were expected to take berths at multi-purpose terminal and Fauji Oil Terminal of Port Qasim on Wednesday.
