Contract doctors observe 'black day' in H'abad

HYDERABAD: The "Contract Doctor Forum" here on Saturday observed "black day" to protest against the decision of the Sindh Health Minister to appoint only 641 doctors on contract basis through selection.

The doctors wore black arm bands and hoisted black flags on the hospital buildings.

Addressing a general body meeting of the forum, Dr Akram Ghuman, Dr Rasheed Bilal, Dr Gulzar Jumani and Dr Zaffar Hussain rejected the decision of the health minister and accused him of anti Sindh Policies.

They threatened to launch a protest movement if the decision to appoint only 641 doctors was not rescinded.
