Brisk trading observed
on Jodia Bazar
RECORDER REPORT
KARACHI: Jodia Bazar saw brisk trading activity at the weekend. Buyers were falling upon items as if they were determined to make purchases only this very day and would not put off to another day. Perhaps they had Sunday in view which is a closed day.
Variations, were few and only, in tea and dry fruits.
Dry fruits: Almond katha was quoted at Rs 1,550. Almond girdi was up by Rs 50 to Rs 1,600. Almond Irani dropped Rs 400 to Rs 7,800. Walnut in shell dropped Rs 50 to Rs 1,550. Chilghoza was up by Rs 300 to Rs 7,500. Dates semi-dry rose sharply by Rs 400 to Rs 1,600. Dry dates rose by Rs 50 to Rs 1,000.
China's green depicted softer undertone. Green 9575 lost Rs 10 to Rs 50 and 25101 shed Rs 5 to Rs 120.
