MCCI chief hails govt decision on loan, tax defaults

MULTAN: Fareed Mughis Sheikh, President, Multan Chamber of Commerce and Industry has appreciated the government decision to soften its policy towards loan and tax defaulters and allowing them the facility of adjustment and restructuring of payments instead of punitive actions. In a statement he said that these steps would save the business community from harassment and restore their confidence.

The chamber chief said that this decision would provide the facility of adjusting refund claims against defaulted amounts and would normalise the situation for foreign investors who are uptil now shy of the situation.
